Hi, we're Leslie and Mark, Master Franchise Owners for Kitset Assembly Services across Southwest and Central Florida.
Business ownership and franchising have been a big part of our journey. We've experienced franchising from almost every angle – as unit franchisees, Master Franchisees and franchise consultants – and have previously franchised and grown a business to more than 350 locations across 15 countries.
Over the years, we've helped hundreds of people become business owners and supported them as they've built and grown their businesses. That's a big part of what attracted us to Kitset. We wanted to build something that reflects our core values: helping others achieve their dreams of business ownership, creating meaningful value for local consumers and businesses, and building something lasting for our family, employees and franchisees.
Ultimately, though, choosing Kitset came down to the people. We saw an opportunity to work alongside genuinely great people, get involved at the ground level in the United States, and play a meaningful role in shaping the future of the business.
We're excited to be doing that in Florida. The beaches and weather aren't exactly difficult to enjoy, but it's the mix of people and communities that makes this such a great place to live, work and build a business.
Away from work, you'll usually find us spending time with friends and family, hanging out by the pool, or answering to the real boss of the household – our very small but very much in charge mini dachshund! There's also a little more to us than meets the eye: Leslie – Canadian by birth, while Mark – a College Basketball Hall of Fame inductee who still holds two records.
Whether we're working with customers, franchisees or our wider community, we'd like to be known for something pretty simple: we genuinely care about the people we work with, and we do what we say we're going to do.
Most of all, we're looking forward to helping our Kitset franchisees build businesses that can change their lives.
