Hi, I’m Allan, one of your local Kitset Assembly business owners in the Wellington region.
Originally from the UK, my wife and I have called Wellington home since 2016 (along with our 3 cats).
I’ve always been fascinated by how things work and how they are built. I’m the guy that takes things apart for fun, but I usually make sure they go back together again! Tinkering with furniture, Lego, gadgets or computers became a bit of a stress relief from my career in corporate IT, so when I came across Kitset Assembly Services, the opportunity to turn my hobby into a business was too good to miss!
While Kitset Assembly Services is a nationwide brand you can trust, I am the dedicated local owner in Wellington’s Northern Suburbs. My exclusive territory covers Johnsonville, Tawa, Churton Park, Newlands, Grenada Village, Paparangi, Glenside, Woodridge, Grenada North, Horokiwi, and Ohariu. I also proudly serve clients across the wider Wellington City area.
My work covers everything from single furniture items, BBQs or trampolines to more complex projects like full room furniture packages, the complete assembly of large garden sheds & cabins, multi-station home gyms, saunas, intricate wardrobe systems, and small office fit-outs. Now my hobbies focus on DIY around the house and crafting furniture from old pallet wood, as well as attending to every need of our furry felines.
I’m a natural problem solver with a keen eye for those little details. I enjoy the satisfaction of a job done right and seeing happy customers getting on with their lives.
