Hi there! I’m Phil, your Flatpack Assembler from Whangarei!

I was born into a dairy farming life and as one of ten kids I grew up in the “Naki”, spent my childhood trapping possums, playing rugby and surf lifesaving. I went on to own a dairy farm then landed in Northland in 2006 purchasing an avocado orchard. I have always worked with my hands so when this opportunity came up I thought this challenge will make life interesting.

Once I went down to assemble two sheds, the guy there said, “he and his son tried putting them together but gave up, they could never get it to go together or look as good as Kitset Assembly Services” - I chuckled to myself, I am not perfect but I am a limited edition.

When I am not working, my passion is fishing and diving. Look out for me driving around town, I can’t be missed in my little green van  - with all the tools for Africa on it.
