Shed Assembly Requirements - Checklist
After installing hundreds of sheds, we know they can be a bit tricky! Our aim is to provide customers with a transparent and easy solution with no surprises.
Please initially self-assess your site using our checklist below and if you are unsure about the requirements, please give us a call on 1300 352 872 and one of our friendly team will be happy to help.
1. Clear Access
Please Note: Access to the assembly site should be free of obstacles and allow the assembler uninterrupted freedom of movement.

Is access restricted?

- Rubbish or Debris
2. Flat & Level
Please Note: We can prepare your site however, you will need to arrange a site visit & measure for any extra work needed.
*Additional costs may apply.
Your shed site;
- Needs to be flat & level
- Needs to be stable
- Not sloping
- No depressions
- No variances
3. Confined Space
Please Note: For any product that we assemble outdoors, we require 500mm of space all around the product.
*If your shed is to be built under a deck or a pre-existing structure we will require there to be at least 500mm of clearance above the highest point of the roof.

4. Secure & Fasten
Please Note: It is recommended your shed is secured and fastened appropriately.
Sheds should be secured to a solid base so they are not lifted or distorted by winds. Ideally this base will be a concrete pad, however it can also be a heavy duty timber frame.
In the case of some smaller sheds, it may be possible to attach to pavers (no smaller than 300 x 300 x 50mm.)
Concrete pads should be 100mm longer and wider than the shed dimensions.
We are happy to provide (for a small fee) a site visit *& measure to help advise and prepare your area for a shed.
